Job Description

A client is looking to add an IT Compliance Audit Analyst to a program team at Langley AFB. As an IT Compliance Audit Analyst, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve providing audit compliance reporting at various levels, drafting and submitting managements responses to reports by the established deadlines, and conducting audit assessments within scheduled timelines. You will interface with assigned action officers to report recommendations and monitor corrective actions, manage documentation to support corrective action implementation, and coordinate with audit personnel and stakeholders during service execution, results validation, and report processing. Additionally, you will review systems to ensure they comply with government standards and are operating correctly, perform process work to ensure secure measures of information handling, and potentially perform audit features on a project basis. There are currently 3 individuals on the team.

Required Skills & Experience

Secret clearance
Five (5) years documented Project Management experience with a focus on compliance and governance
Four (4) years experience in a DoD environment
Three (3) years experience using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint)
Auditing background with experience in compliance (SOC compliance, HIPAA requirements)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree (Technical Degree Preferred)
Experience with process analysis and improvement
Multiple analyst roles in different areas
DAU training
Experience with financial information and audit readiness for the Air Force
Current or previous position similar to the role at USCG
