Job Description

A client in the manufacturing industry is looking to add 1 Industrial Manufacturing Engineer to their team in Wytheville, VA. They will be responsible for creating performance indicators to measure plant and equipment capacity, establishing accident prevention measures, and assisting with the setup of the new facility in Virginia. They will provide support to the operations and engineering team by implementing lean methods and process improvements to streamline operations. They will also use their technical abilities to troubleshoot problems and develop new processes. This position is fully on site on an 8-5 PM work schedule.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with factory layout and lean manufacturing processes
- SolidWorks SAP experience with a focus on Custom manufactured to Order products, taking a concept through to final design and fabrication
- Advanced knowledge and practice with testing requirements per applicable IEEE standards
