Insight Global We is seeking a skilled Water/Wastewater Engineer to join a client based in the DMV area. In this role, you will be responsible for performing engineering work related to the design, rehabilitation, and construction of water, wastewater, and reuse treatment facilities. You will develop engineering designs, prepare reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for various projects, including permitting and alternative analysis. Your responsibilities will also include preparing technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables, as well as data entry and analysis. You will manage projects through the construction phase, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards. Collaboration with supervisors and team leaders is essential, as is training and monitoring internal staff. You will act independently and make authoritative decisions on technical matters, develop significant relationships with new and existing clients, and support the firm's relationships with client management personnel. Additionally, you will identify and direct sub consultants performing services on projects, contribute to proposal preparation and overall business development pursuits, and actively participate in professional associations, including presenting technical papers and serving on technical committees.
