Job Description

We are looking for a full-stack software engineer to work on a small rapid prototyping team of engineers and data scientists building lightweight prototype applications. Begin the building blocks of a custom UI framework as a cross-platform development tool. Be a part of the creation of a tool that is not only interesting to technically construct but will improve our society in our ability to move resources, no matter the circumstances.

Required Skills & Experience

Requirements:

* Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, Next.js, TypeScript, Flowbite, or Tailwind.

* Expertise in back-end programming languages like Node.js, Python, Java, Go, etc. and their relevant technologies/frameworks.

* Expert in developing and optimizing systems for data processing and calling REST APIs for both inter-service communication and user-facing, latency-sensitive frontend applications.

* Experience with the various other facets of UI development.

* Experience developing and deploying micro-services

* Participate in the full application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.

* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, ensuring adherence to software development best practices.



Qualifications:

* Analytical Aptitude: Possess keen analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the capability to understand complex software challenges and collaborate toward viable solutions.

* Effective Communication: Skilled in distilling technical complexities into comprehensible terms for varied audiences.

* Adaptive Nature: Resilience and adaptability in the face of an ever-changing tech landscape, with a knack for rapidly integrating new technologies and methodologies.

* Agile Methodology Experience: An understanding and hands-on experience with agile development methodologies and version control tools.

* Agility in Tech: Demonstrated adaptability in the fast-paced tech landscape, continually embracing and integrating new technologies and methodologies.

* Education: While formal education in Computer Science or related fields is a plus, DefconAI values hands-on experience and demonstrable skills above all. Candidates with 6+ years of relevant experience will be considered regardless of their academic pedigree.

* Continuous Learner: A commitment to perpetually update one's skill set, staying aligned with the latest in technology trends and best practices.
