Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Database Administrator to support one of our independent state agency clients. This individual will be filling a gap in production due to some upcoming internal changes. We are looking for an individual who has experience working on multiple different types of databases including Oracle, Linux, and SQL skills.

Responsibilities include:
- Monitor production and development databases
- Apply Oracle EBusiness Suite application and security patches
- Respond to development assistance requests
- Provide after hours application support as needed

Environment:
- Oracle 12.2.12 on Linux platform in OCI
- Oracle containerized databases 19.24
- Microsoft Office 365
- Service Desk request tracking system

The target pay rate for this position is between $50-60/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of experience as a database administrator supporting production and development Oracle EBS application and databases
- Experience dealing with MOS
- Knowledge of database containers and editioning
- Familiar with Oracle Enterprise Manager
- Knowledge of Linux operating system
- Meticulous attention to detail, ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and to work both independently and in a team environment
- Superior verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Holding
