Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in Department of Defense (DoD) projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a federal agency such as, but not limited to: NAVFAC, Army Corps of Engineers, Air Force, Marines, FBI, or CIA. This role requires a Professional Engineer (PE) license and the ability to obtain a secret clearance. This person will be joining a thriving company in the A&E space working as a design lead for Federal projects. Working within Civil3D and PCSWMM designing from scratch, redlining, and doing plans/calculations will be the majority of the day to day. In addition to that, this role will involve mentorship of junior engineers, participation in meetings, oversight of projects, and signing/sealing project documents.

Minimum of 7 years of experience as a design engineer with DoD projects.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Proficiency in Civil 3D and PCSWMM.
Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
Ideal candidates are located in Virginia Beach (VB), but flexible arrangements are possible for those with 10+ years of experience.
Experience operating in HEC-RAS
