Job Description

Insight Global is seeking highly motivated individual to lead and mentor on diverse municipal, state, and federal/DOD projects. The successful candidate will provide expertise in water resources, stormwater management, flood studies, culvert design, HEC-RAS analysis, bridge hydraulics, and hydrologic & hydraulic modeling. Responsibilities include guiding design projects, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to marketing and business development. Key tasks involve performing high-level storm drainage and stormwater management designs, solving complex stormwater and flooding issues, conducting water systems analysis and modeling, developing erosion and sediment control plans, and designing stormwater management facilities. Effective communication with team members and clients, preparing construction documents, making presentations, and collaborating during the construction phase are essential. Additionally, the role includes preparing engineering reports, quantity take-offs, and developing scopes and fees for project pursuits.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or an equivalent related degree
- Professional Engineer license
- Experience in CAD platforms and stormwater/hydraulic design software such as PCSWMM & Civil 3D
- Proficiency in technical work using software applications like Microstation, Civil 3D, PCSWMM, StormCad, HEC-RAS, and ARC-GIS

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience in Microstation/Geopak/OpenRoads
* Additional experience in the industry, and a desire to stay in the calculating and detail work side of production
* Experience in the Federal Sector, particularly Department of Defense (DoD) work
* Knowledge of Unified Facility Criteria (UFC's)
* HEC-RAS and/or Civil 3D experience
