Insight Global is searching for a Project Manager to support our client in Richmond VA. This individual is
responsible for leading a team of professionals in completing projects by a set deadline to uphold business initiatives. Their duties include analyzing and dividing up their budget for different project aspects and advocating for additional funding when necessary, hiring freelance professionals or selecting project team members from existing departments, and setting or adjusting project schedules to adhere to deadlines. Additionally, this position may be called upon for short-term special assignments at managements discretion.
Additional Responsibilities:
· Perform a kick-off meeting with the Estimator and salesperson of the project after thoroughly reviewing specifications and drawings.
· Create a project plan.
· Coordinate all pre & post construction activities. (Submittals, SOV, warranty, rebates, as-builds etc.)
· Assist in reviewing contracts pertaining to the SOW.
· Coordinate project buyouts and release of materials.
· Perform project QC to ensure installation is per plans, specs, and company and customer standards.
· Provide weekly schedule and project status to the project team and escalate issues to management as needed.
· Perform site inspections and complete estimates/proposals on smaller-size projects and project change orders.
· Provide monthly cost to complete for all projects over the given objectives set.
· Use project tracking sheets on all projects over a given set amount.
· Provide and review the project plan and task tracker with project foreman.
· Routinely review task trackers and discuss budget vs actual production with the project foreman.
