Insight Global is searching for an Angular Developer to join one of our clients in Virginia Beach. An ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the following:
-Implement features with Google Maps clustering, overlays, and interactivity. Integrate ArcGIS layers and/or load KML files for custom map features.
-Handle real-time data feeds using RxJS, WebSockets, or STOMP protocol.
-Upgrade Angular applications from version 13 to 17+, ensuring backward compatibility and improved performance.
-Optimize UI/UX for performance and responsiveness.
-Collaborate with customer, backend developers, and DevOps to ensure end-to-end quality.
-Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices. Help create/ improve unit tests for existing code base.
-Conduct code reviews if required.
Compensation:
$48.26/hr to $53.27/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

-5+ years of experience in Angular development.
-Hands-on experience with Angular 13+, with demonstrated work in upgrading to Angular 17+.
-Strong experience with Google Maps JavaScript API, including clustering, markers, overlays, and styling.
-Experience integrating with ArcGIS services or loading and interacting with KML data.
-Proficiency in RxJS and real-time update mechanisms (e.g., STOMP/WebSockets).
-Strong understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous data handling.
-Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and TypeScript.
-Version control using Git.
-Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
