Insight Global is looking for a Software Engineer with Secret Clearance to join our federal client in Chesapeake, VA. The role involves a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
-Programming: Developing web-based applications using languages, frameworks, and libraries such as Angular JS, EXT-JS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
-Application Analysis: Assessing application functionality and understanding how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment impact outcomes.
-Judgment and Decision Making: Evaluating the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to determine the most appropriate course of action.
-Complex Problem Solving: Identifying complex issues, analyzing related information, and developing and implementing effective solutions.
Compensation:
$28.84/hr to $48.07/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

-Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience or 9 years of experience in total
-Proven experience in an Agile environment, with a solid understanding of core Agile principles.
-Proficiency in web technologies and tools, including Angular, AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS, Java, Spring, XML, JSP, and AJAX.
-Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) is highly preferred!
-Active Secret Clearance or Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance
-Familiarity with React, Typescript, SQL, and C++ is advantageous.
-Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships by listening, sharing ideas, and valuing others' contributions.
-Highly organized and detail-oriented.
-Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and advance multiple projects simultaneously.
-Quick learner, capable of adapting to new technologies swiftly.
