Job Description

Responsibilities: Seeking a Functional tester that will be responsible for testing a data resiliency application for the enterprise. The tester will be responsible for in-sprint testing, regression testing and defect management. This role will be 100% hands and needs someone strong enough in SQL in order to write and read scripts, alter joins, etc. This is a long-term opportunity that will sit in Richmond, VA on a hybrid model.



Working Knowledge of Defect management process, Risk Framework and mitigation, and Enterprise Testing standards

Extensive expertise with QA Deliverables tool set -- (Quality Center, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project/Excel)

Expert in writing SQL queries

Agile Methodology/SDLC

Good Communication

Self-starter and able to work independently

Desired Skills

Organized and able to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Highly motivated, able to work independently

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Experience with Global model

Excellent interpersonal skills, Communicates Effectively, builds relationships, Influences others

Willingness to learn and adapt to changes

Agile tools (Jira/Rally)

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:
4-6 years of Functional testing in agile lifecycle (does not need someone with lead experience)
Extensive expertise with QA Deliverables tool set -- (Quality Center, ALM, QTest, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project/Excel)
UI testing
Jira experience
Can write basic SQL queries
Agile Methodology/SDLC -- comfortable working with an offshore team
Good Communication
