Job Description

Quality Control Construction Manager: The candidate will have responsibilities that include but not limited to Quality Control as it relates to construction, design/build, architecture and engineering, space management, facilities management of a large Healthcare build. This role requires 7 years of experience in construction management on projects for construction, mechanical systems, interior renovations, upgrades or new fit-outs

Responsibilities & Duties
The Contractor shall perform all activities associated with construction quality assurance services to ensure construction projects are executed in line with approved standards, plans, and specifications and that the interests of the client as the owner of the facilities are appropriately represented in the process of project delivery.
Projects is located in Springfield VA
Ensure comprehensive project controls are integrated into the process to help manage time, cost, scope, quality, and safety issues.
Participate in construction quality, safety, performance, or other related meetings to address ongoing and upcoming work.
Participate in discussions and reviews of requests for proposals (RFPs), designs, or other related product prior to the commencement of construction to ensure alignment with best practices and applicable codes and/or unified facilities criteria (UFCs).
Provide on-site inspection and monitoring of construction contractor performance, ensuring execution in the field adheres to project parameters and approved plans/specifications.
Advise client of any deviations/changes for approval or construction contract modification.
Perform technical quality assurance checks of construction work.
Support development of technical write-ups and costs for construction efforts, including but not limited to construction project modifications or separate stand-alone projects.
Utilize clients electronic project management system to develop, route, and document files, reports, and other project related documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma.
Seven (7) years of experience performing construction performance inspections/monitoring of both renovation and new construction of large ground up builds (Healthcare Experience preferred)
Clean Background
Ability to be onsite in Springfield, VA 5 days a week
