Job Description

When our countrys cybersecurity is on the line, simply reacting is not enough, we need a plan. And when that plan needs to support the Department of Defenses secure communications, we need strategic policy development. Thats why we need you, a strategic planning and policy specialist with the expertise required to guide a team analyzing the policies that determine our cyber resilience.

As a cyber strategic planning and policy development consultant on our team, youll oversee staff working on the assessment of the Department of Defense's current cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks. Youll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, youll lead the team in the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. Youll work with the client to ensure they operate securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment.

Required Skills & Experience

Knowledge of cybersecurity
Knowledge of encryption technologies
Ability to communicate to senior executives and military senior officers
TS/SCI clearance
Masters degree in a Cybersecurity or Technology field and 12+ years of experience working with cybersecurity, or 18+ years of experience working with cybersecurity in lieu of a degree

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience at the OSD level or with a Military Command at the Pentagon
Knowledge of cryptography modernization
Ability to develop clear and concise written, verbal, and visual presentations
Master's degree in a Cybersecurity or Encryption related field
CISSP or higher Certification
