A Virginia State Agency is seeking and experienced Splunk Administrator to augment the existing on premises Splunk platform. An ideal candidate should have experience with data integration services of multiple technologies that are currently in use within our environment as well as future systems integrations. They are seeking a candidate with excellent communication skills, technical skills, adaptable abilities to work in a fast-paced enterprise environment. An ideal candidate can respond to shifting priorities, maintain detailed focus on multiple assignments, work independently or with groups of team members, and have tenacity to achieve the agency's goals. The pay rate for this position is between 60-70 an hour, depending on the candidate's years of experience.

Expertise in configuring and administering complete Splunk Infrastructure
Search Heads, Indexers, Heavy Forwarders, Deployment Server, Cluster Master, Deployer, License Master and Universal Forwarder on Linux and Windows operating systems.
Hands on experience on administrative tools like Splunk Administration Console and Command line interface.
Experience with Creating and Managed Splunk DB connect Identities, Database Connections, Database Inputs, Outputs, lookups, access controls.
Developing Splunk Queries and dashboards targeted at visualizing business processes, application performance and capacity analysis.
Hands on development experience in customizing Splunk dashboards, visualizations, configurations, reports, and search capabilities using customized Splunk queries.
