Insight Global is looking for an application support engineer to join one of our clients in Chandler AZ. The candidate will work as a technical application support analyst supporting multiple applications involving technologies such as, Java / J2EE / .Net / Oracle / SQL and Document Management systems.
Responsibilities include:
Proactively monitor and manage the production environment.
Responsible for Incident management and conducting proper problem follow-up.
Troubleshoot and resolve application problems including but not limited to internal errors, job failures, feed management, monitoring, etc.
Maintain/Create documentation of support policies and procedures
Monitoring and management of data feeds and interfaces for large scale enterprise applications
Understanding of the business processes supported by the system.
Support application releases, implementations, upgrades, resiliency testing, and/or changes into the environment.
Ensuring continuity and quality by owning the resolution of issues across platforms. Tracking progress and escalating as appropriate unless resolution reached.
Maintaining a knowledge base of known defects and issues, process, techniques etc.
Participates in a production support rotation to include evenings and weekends to monitor and respond/resolve production problems
Weekend and after-hours work is required to perform routine monitoring, resolve unexpected outages, support critical business initiatives, some release activity, post change validation and Disaster Recovery tests.
Build strong partnership with Development, Infrastructure and platform teams
Pay range 50-55/hour depending on years of experience.
