Job Description

We are seeking a Facility Manager who will be responsible for the supervision and development of the facility management for a 250,000 sq ft. mixed use space (commercial office + laboratory) which results in a fast-paced and demanding environment. The primary focus will be to extend optimal fulfillment of contract deliverables and service delivery, operational performance, safety performance, financial performance, and administrative performance. The Facility Manager will supervise the activities of the Electrical/HVAC group, Mechanical group, Janitorial and outside contractors. This individual will also assist the Director of Facilities Services in ensuring that facility maintenance services are being provided in a proper and cost-effective manner.

Required Skills & Experience

Ensure the proper operation of the Preventive Maintenance Program. Manages the facility's predictive maintenance program with special attention to non-evasive procedures.

Responsible for the leadership, direction, coordination and performance of all assigned maintenance and facility support activities.

Profit and loss responsibility for the account, quality control, maintenance process development and conformance, and all account administrative functions.

Oversight of all processes ensuring conformance to federal, state, and local regulations, and conformance with company and customer policies.

Direct the daily activities of the Electrical/HVAC group, Mechanical group, Janitorial and the outside contractors.

Ensure that maintenance work orders are completed and accurate; carry realistic priorities and proper approvals.

Presides at weekly scheduling meetings, reconciles the maintenance requirements of individual areas so that facility maintenance needs are met ad wide fluctuations in man power utilization are minimized.
