Job Description

Our client is looking for 4 remote, IRS-cleared Security Control Assessors. This person will be responsible for communicating with employees to determine the scope of their workstream and audit. This candidate will be very experienced within SCA work, and able to handle 80-90 assessments a week, with 3,000-4,000 findings. While this role is direct placement and remote, there will be a two week period of the year expected to be used for business travel to various state capitols to run assessments.

The salary range for this position is around $95-120k with some flexibility.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of experience assessing mainframe, linux, window servers, and any other industry standard workstreams, utilizing NIST and FISMA compliance criteria.
- 2+ years defining scope and compiling assessments.
- an active IRS Public Trust/ MBI clearance (have worked for the IRS in the past 5 years).
-Familiarity with CIS (Center for Internet Security) benchmarks.
- CompTIA and Sec+ certifications.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience assessing NIST and FISMA.
