Job Description

Insight Global is looking to bring on 2 IT Security Analysts to sit hybrid in Richmond, VA. These individuals will be responsible for ensuring that the agency is following the Commonwealth of Virginia's Information Security Policies and Standards by working with the IT Dept, Information Security Dept, and all necessary technical teams and stakeholders. They will do this by creating plans, frameworks, and procedures for the teams and making recommendations on how they can become compliant. The selected individuals' primary responsibility will be to evaluate the systems of various departments, provide recommendations to enhance their overall cybersecurity strategy, and ensure their compliance. Compensation for this role $45-$55/hr and varies based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Gov't Technology Implementation, IT Governance, or a related field (work exp in lieu of degree)
- 5 years of experience conducting comprehensive risk assessments of information systems, applications, and processes to identify potential vulnerabilities, threats, and impacts
- Familiar with NIST SP 800-53 Security Standards
- Ability to assess systems and create documentation to demonstrate how they meet Section 530 requirements
Ability to work with technical teams and stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Certs: Sec+, CISSP, CISA, or related education
