Field Logistics Coordinator (Secret Cleared)
Responsibilities:
a. Perform periodic inventory of stock, reconcile variances, and ensure inventory adjustments are
properly applied. Provide results to appropriate State Department personnel.
b. Receive, sort, log, and distribute all incoming shipments utilizing ILMS, S-ILMS, or other approved
DoS system.
c. Identify, locate, prepare, and arrange for shipment of requested material by the appropriate priority
basis.
d. Process all approved orders for stock, parts, maintenance supplies, and depot repair service as
required and ensuring all paperwork is processed through required channels.
e. Prepare statistical reports as required.
f. Ensure work areas are maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.
g. Pick-up and deliver equipment to local sites utilizing a government van, or 20 --foot truck.
h. Pick--up and deliver equipment to sites on the East Coast utilizing the tractor trailer. This is a rare
occurrence, not to exceed three times a year.
i. Perform other warehouse related duties when requested--packing, cycle counts, physical inventory
counts, etc.
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience:
a. Four years of experience in logistics relating to the inventory management, receiving, shipping,
and/or service of office automation equipment.
b. Two years of experience using automated inventory tracking systems to manage an inventory of
spare parts, supplies, and/or equipment.
c. Ability of operate a forklift.
d. Physical ability to lift, move, and pack equipment up to 70 pounds.
e. Must possess a valid motor vehicle driver's licenses and Class A Commercial Driver`s Licenses for
tractor trailers and have a clean driving record (no accidents or moving violation within the last three
years).
