Part-Time Bookkeeper

Insight Global is partnering with a client based out of Richmond, VA who specializes in the commercial and residential space designing custom lighting, sound, and home theatre solutions. They are looking for a part-time bookkeeper to work 20-30 hours a week onsite that will be helping on streamlining some of there financials. This person will be reporting to the owner of the company and will ideally have some experience helping small to medium sized businesses.



Day-to-Day:



Processing of accounts payable and receivable -- managing of invoices, payments and receipts



Reconciliation of accounts through QuickBooks



Documentation of financial transactions ensuring accuracy



Assisting with payroll

1-3 years of experience with QuickBooks



Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - 2 years of experience in Excel



Understanding of basic accounting practices or GAAP



Bachelor's of Accounting or related field OR 3+ years of experience in a similar position
