Our large engineering and construction firm is currently hiring for a Certified Construction Quality Manager to join their team in Norfolk VA. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all Quality Control for this specific construction project with the Navy at the Norfolk Virginia Naval Shipyard in Port Smith VA. Specifically, they will be reviewing all Quality Control Documents, managing the entirety of the QC process including submittals and RFI's. From there they will be responsible for ensuring that the quality plan is being implemented and followed properly by the onsite construction teams in the field. This is a fully onsite position working daytime construction hours. This individual must have the CQM certification as well as a college degree within the engineering, architecture, or construction space. Experience working within construction specifically with the Navy or other federal agencies is preferred.

5+ years of experience working within Construction Quality Control as a Project Manager, Construction Manager or Superintendent
MUST be a certified CQM (Construction Quality Manager)
MUST have USACE EM 385-1-1 safety certification
MUST have 4-year college degree in an engineering architectural or construction field
Experience working with the Navy or another federal agency from a construction standpoint
Marine construction background
Expereince working with ProCore
