Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a qualified Secret Windows System Administrator in support of one of our large federal clients in Norfolk, VA. This candidate will be supporting and be responsible for working with the Operations Control team for vulnerability reporting/remediation and DISA STIG auditing/reporting. Their day to day will include but is not limited to:

* Troubleshoot and resolve basic level system hardware, software and communications problems

* Install, configure and test software packages

* Evaluate and remediate vulnerability scans on production and test systems using scanning and software tools

* Gather information and processing data related to Cybersecurity of applicable program systems

* Ensure compliance with DoD Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts and Bulletins (IAVA, IAVB) by managing installation of new software releases, system upgrades, and installation of patches to resolve software related issues with the IT systems

* Remediate areas of non-compliance by using the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) by utilizing the STIG Viewer tool

* Analyze system vulnerabilities using Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans

* Review system, security and performance logs to assist in resolving incidents and maintaining system level security

Required Skills & Experience

* 5+ years of experience working as a System Administrator

* Experience with Windows 10, Windows Server OS, and Active Directory

* Understanding of command line and Windows system, server, and client environment

* Security+ certification

* MCSA or equivelant certification

* Active Secret security clearance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Microsoft Endpoint Config Manager (MECM) experience

* Experience with vulnerability management tools

* Familiarity with DOD IA requirements and policies

* Some sort of computing environment cert

* Bachelors degree in a related field

* Powershell coding comfortability

* ServiceNow ticket system experience
