a. Responsible for providing oversight and guidance to project management staff for projects within their program area to help ensure the successful delivery of project objectives according to defined scope, schedule, and budget. Review work products of contract staff for quality.
b. If more than one Program Manager is assigned to the contract, they shall coordinate to ensure consistent delivery of services to ITRM
c. Responsible for tracking/reporting program area project performance to client leadership including planned strategies for mitigating risks/issues as identified.
d. Responsible for ensuring that project management staff adhere to project management best practices as defined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and in accordance with client defined project management processes/templates.
e. Responsible for engaging with resources from other areas of client or other consultant firms that are managing cybersecurity or IT projects to gather details regarding project scope, schedule and budget and impact to the overall ITRM portfolio.
f. Act in the capacity of a Project Manager or Business Analyst as needed to ensure the delivery of the program of projects.
g. Attend project and portfolio meetings at the direction of the client Senior Program Manager or Portfolio Services Manager.
h. Serve as advisor and principal support to the respective client senior manager(s) regarding assigned portfolio of projects, including:
i. Daily program management throughout the program lifecycle
ii. Defining the program governance
iii. Planning the overall program and monitor the progress
iv. Managing the program's budget
v. Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements
vi. Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies
vii. Managing and utilizing resources across projects
viii. Managing stakeholders' communication
ix. Aligning deliverables to the program's outcome
x. Managing the main program documents
i. Recommend and support the implementation of project portfolio management processes, standards, and documentation improvements to maximize efficiencies and general management of projects
