Job Description

Insight Global is searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist Supervisor to work for a large client based in Virginia Beach, VA. This position will oversee 15 to 20 a specialist who work with specific section of the AP lifecycle, ensuring that all outgoing payments to vendors are matched to the correct vendor invoices in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have one year or more of experience working as a supervisor.



-Day to Day

-Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment

-Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry

-Execute credit card and bank account reconciliation

-Generate purchase orders when necessary

-Obtain and print signatures on all checks

-Assist senior financial officers as needed

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

-Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping

-Superb time management skills and detail orientation

-Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and partner information

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Strong mathematical skills

-Experience in accounts payable (or accounts receivable)

-Experience with accounting software and online platforms
