Insight Global is looking to hire a Secret Cleared Network Engineer to support a defense contract in Alexandria, VA. This team is responsible for providing continuous maintenance and integration of computer hardware and software used around the world by individuals within the Department of Defense. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Participate in the maintenance of 10-15 switches and 200+ routers globally.
Analyze and make recommendations to adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands.
Supervise network operations, maintenance, repairs or upgrades.
Review and approve equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems.
Review and approve conceptual, logical or physical network designs.
Develop procedures to track and report network availability, reliability, capacity or utilization and recommend security measures such as firewalls, network security audits, or automated security probes.
Assist in future upgrade and replacement of current routers
Any additional certifications (CCNA or CASP)
