Job Description

* Data Architecture, drive the roadmap and maturity of the backend of a data analytics data warehouse and reporting project.

* Database Management: Oversee the Database Design and Development of MS SQL Server databases (2019+). Develop schemas, procedures, functions, and jobs to support application databases and data warehouse databases.

* Database Architecture: Collaborate with application teams to define cloud architecture and design plans for hosting complex workloads on premises, Azure and AWS.

* Support and Troubleshooting: Provide L3 and L4 support for application production issues, both on-premises and in the cloud. Resolve technical problems related to databases and related systems.

* Development Support: Assist development teams with database-related tasks, including schema design, T-SQL coding, and SSIS development.

* Knowledge Sharing: Participate in knowledge transfer sessions, create documentation, and share information with team members to stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends.

* Sophisticated knowledge & "hands-on" experience on Power BI

* Knowledge of ArcGIC data modeling a plus

* Ability to setup and automate Power BI platform related activities

* Experience using Power Query, Power Pivot, M-language, DAX, PBI Desktop and PBI Online.

* Experience with Python and R-script a plus

* Knowledge of scripting/coding languages such as PowerShell, C#, Python, and Shell scripting a plus

* Experience supporting Mobile Devices a plus

* Ability to build framework to capture Power BI user tracking/logging, usage monitoring, anomalies detection in published data sets and reporting at an enterprise level using Power Platform

* Experience with Scheduling and Delivering Reports using Power BI and Third-Party Tools (Control-M, Power Automate)

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's degree in a technology with minimum of 7-10 year of work experience

* Experience supporting VA preferable

* Knowledge of SQL Server versions 2019+,

* Knowledge of Power Automate, such as experience using Power Automate to establish recurring data integration with SharePoint

* Understanding of SQL permissions and administration

* Strong project and time leadership skills with an ability to set and maintain multiple, competing priorities

* Strong desire to learn and develop additional skills and expertise over time, as well as drive process improvement

* Applying your past experiences and help set up & establish a well governed, secure, scalable and highly performing Power BI foundation that can be demonstrated across enterprise and to advocate for standard methodologies

* Looking for Continuous process improvement possibilities with an "automate first" attitude

* Skills and experience conveying technical information to non-technical audiences

* Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
