A client in the Northern Virginia area is hiring for a Principal Space Systems Engineer to join their team in 2 different office locations: Herndon, and Chantilly. This candidate will spearhead, facilitate, plan, and drive to successful completion Digital Engineering/MBSE-centric systems engineering processes and methodologies that span complete systems development lifecycle activities. The ideal candidate will have 1 - 12+ years of experience with complex space or ground systems and system-of-systems(SoS) development and integration. They will be well versed in developing technical requirements for space or ground systems and SoS and lead efforts to collaborate with internal and external partners/stakeholders. This candidate will balance elements of traditional document-based systems engineering lifecycle management processes with digitization- and virtualization-centric processes to effectively achieve end-to-end digital engineering transformation.
