An employer is seeking a GL Implementation Consultant in the Norfolk area. Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities include:
* Onboard Clients and work closely with Client CPAs and accounting personnel for GL implementations. You'll create exceptional onboarding experiences for each product or service implementation. You'll help clients develop the skills and confidence to use our products with ease through your expertise and relationship-building
o Exchange routine information with members of client project team, including priorities, timeliness and issues as they arise
* Implementour technologies.You will consult with clients and analyze existing systems, interface requirements, and business processes to deliver a comprehensive solution. You willincorporate new processes, tools, and approaches when recommendingand implementingthesolution.
o Analyze existing systems, interface requirements, business processes
o Guide and drive the client towards the best solution for their business needs
o Incorporate new processes, tools and approaches when recommending a solution to their current payroll technology
o Implement solutions to non-complex clients, following internal guidelines, and in accordance with client expectations
o Ensure client satisfaction and retention through timely solution delivery within client-defined timeliness
o Remain engaged with client throughout implementation, until client is successfully running
* Partner Internally & with External Stakeholders (specifically CPAs and Accounting personnel). Youwillcollaborate with internal associates in sales and customer service and exchange routine information with members of the client project team, including priorities, timeliness,andissues as they arise.
* Youadhere to a daily schedule and organize yourselfto deal with a high volume ofinbound calls.Daily phonetimemay increaseduring peakseasons,like at the close of the calendar year.
o You can work overtime hours during peak seasons
Must Have Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (accounting focus) or Accounting or equivalent in education and experience
* 2 to 4 years of experience working in a client service/customer service environment or systems integration environment or 1 year of business consulting experience
o Service background/ Strong client relationship skills
* Familiar with SAAS ("Software as A Service") products
* Preferred Related experience as a Tech Support or in a Senior Implementation or Service role.
* Knowledge of HCM Products and value propositions.
* Strong accounting background and GL working experience
* Strong emotional intelligence/ situational intelligence
o Can detect if someone is confused or doesn't understand something on the other end of the telephone
o Ability to ask the right questions in order to find out how to best help their client
o Ability to adjust their communication style to adapt to their target audience
* Strong attention to detail- there is a great deal of data entry and a need for high accuracy involved in implementing new client information
* Truly able to multitask in a high-urgency environment with competing priorities, rather than simply stating the ability to multitask
* Ability to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills and apply basic concepts in new situations
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

* MBA or advanced degree in Accounting
* CPA certification
* HCM Certifications: Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP); PHR or SPHR
* Experience working with WFN (WorkForce Now platform)
