Job Description
responsibilities:
* Design and implement scalable and reliable microservices and cloud-based applications using Google Cloud and Kubernetes
* Create and manage Kubernetes clusters, pods, services, and deployments
* Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Spinnaker
* Monitor and troubleshoot the performance and availability of the applications and the Kubernetes clusters using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver
* Collaborate with other engineers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality software products
* Document the design, architecture, and functionality of the applications and the Kubernetes clusters
* Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve the software development process
Required Skills & Experience
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* 3+ years of experience as a Kubernetes engineer or a similar role
* Proficient in Kubernetes administration
* Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Spinnaker
* Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go
* Experience with microservices architecture and development using frameworks such as Spring Boot, Flask, or Gin
* Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver
* Knowledge and proficiency of Google Cloud Platform and its services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, or Cloud Run
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
