Job Description

* Implements, manages, and maintains current/future Cloud Cybersecurity standards, best practices.
* Monitors and implements Cloud Computing Plan for Operations (C3PO) practices e.g., receive, review, and coordination of intercepts, hardware reuse, and independent security assessments Support Joint & Co-Use Cybersecurity activities and information requests.
* Supports the sponsorship of new services and facilities as needed.
* Supports Combatant Command and 4th Estate unique security inquiries and provide recommendations for tailored processes.
* Helps facilitate and prioritize interactions between CSPs and Government entities to prioritize the review of authorization packages
* Collaborating with system owners to identify and design topologies for custom business and scientific applications in any of the four cloud services providers.
* Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions
* Modifying and improving existing systems
* Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives
* Evaluating cloud services for functionality and security
* Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
* Architect and demonstrate cloud solutions to potential customers with the benefits of migrating to the cloud
* Review documentation of cloud service providers and develop policies and procedures for using them in the enterprise
* Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs
* Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.
* Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
* Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and co-workers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability.
Required Skills & Experience
-MA/MS and a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in a technical discipline or fifteen (15) years of recent relevant experience.
-Demonstrable hands-on experience in one of the four cloud service providers -- Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
-Hands-on experience in the areas like systems engineering, compute, storage, networking, software development, and cybersecurity.
-Experience in systems migration to the cloud and DoD Risk Management Framework.
-Experience consulting with system owners on how to design, migrate, and optimize their solutions on cloud services.
