Job Description

The Technical Workday System Analyst will partner with HR, Finance, IT, and all business segments to support the ongoing configuration and maintenance for the Workday HCM module, integrations, security, reporting, and business process framework.

The individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for all functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, business process functionality, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The role supports on-going system development, upgrades, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

· Configure, test, validate and implement Business Process in alignment with business priorities.

· Maintain and configure security roles and permissions across the Workday platform.

· Partner closely with stakeholders to work across all our Workday domains including: Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Payroll, Time, Absence, Benefits, and Reporting.

· Security and Integration Support -- Monitor integrations and security within Workday and troubleshoot issues that arise through changes in configuration, Workday releases, or vendor management.

· Analyze and translate functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications.

· Consult with business and technical teams about interface design and maintenance; collaborate with other architects and technical leads on design decisions.

· Develop Workday reports and dashboards, working with stakeholders proactively to identify value-added metrics and insights.

· Understand and follow Data Governance and ensure attention to data quality.

· Serve as subject matter expert on current and upcoming Workday capabilities.

· Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use of Workday.

· Assist in testing of integrations, security, annual events.

· Serve as a resource to support and resolve Workday Help Desk issues.

· Manage system integrations within the architecture of the HR/Finance system and middleware.

Required Skills & Experience

Basic Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in relevant technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering or related technical discipline) or equivalent combination of training and work experience

2. 3+ years of experience in interface architecture

3. Ability to work and coordinate with third parties on data related inquiries

4. Strong experience with interface, networking, and data warehousing technologies, as well as design, relational database technologies, and performance tuning

5. Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards)

6. Strong technical experience with XML and JavaKnowledge of Workday implementation tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, and iLoad)

7. Understand basic database architecture, tables, functional interactions, and recognize and understand impacts to downstream systems

8. Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills

9. Professionalism and maturity in a collaborative, team-based environment

10. Ability to work cohesively with others on the project team

11. Excellent oral and written communication skills

12. Strong customer service skills and process driven

13. Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information discreetly

14. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities

15. Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications

1. Workday HCM experience or training preferred

2. Workday certification a plus

3. Deep knowledge of Workday's data model, security, configuration and business process framework a plus

4. Experience with SAP S4/Hana Financials a plus

5. Proficiency with Google Suite

6. HR functional and system experience preferred
