Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support one of our largest Healthcare Organizations. The Senior Software Engineer is primarily responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications and reusable software components deployed in the product suite. This position will be required to collaborate effectively with senior and junior developers, business owners, project management, and other internal stakeholders. Additionally, this person will identify opportunities for improvements in scalability, performance, and security along with participating in design and development of software applications from product vision to implementation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ experience in enterprise software design and development
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent
- Understand Hadoop/Big Data Architecture and its various components such as Job Tracker, Task Tracker, Name node, Data Node, Resource Manager and MapReduce
- Experience developing Spark jobs - Scala/Java and Python
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- AWS Cloud experience
-Experience developing microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle, Groovy
-Experience working with Apache Elastic Map Reduce
-Experience with Amazon S3 storage
-Experience with Amazon Step Functions
