Job Description
Our client, a large electrical engineering company, is looking for 4 Electrical Engineers to join their engineering and construction team in Boydton, VA and Richmond, VA. These engineers will be responsible for developing and integrating electrical power and lighting deliverables across complex construction projects. Facilities include, but are not limited to, data centers, hospitals, federal buildings, and mission critical facilities.
Primary responsibilities are below:
* Perform analysis of electrical distribution systems, including short circuit, overcurrent device coordination, arc flash, cable pull, duct bank heating, etc.
* Originate and execute detailed design with limited supervision by Senior Engineers, including the design or integration of the following:
* Normal power medium and low voltage distribution systems.
* Emergency power generation and distribution systems, including UPS.
* Determine or assist in determining project engineering scopes of work, deadlines, and budget, and complete support within agreed deadlines and budget.
Required Skills & Experience
* At least 2 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
* U.S. Citizen
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Experience using Revit
* EIT Certification
