Job Description
Insight Global is hiring for a Help Desk Technician - Weekend Shift (Saturday -- Wednesday) to join our client in Reston, VA to help troubleshoot and maintain their Windows OS environment, and work with internal employees and stakeholders to resolve IT issues. This position is a full-time 40-hour work week position, that is remote on the weekends, and on-site in Reston, VA Monday -- Wednesday. You will work on a team of 8-9 technicians to provide technical support via phone, email, and remote tools. This will include troubleshooting issues that revolve around: MS Office Suite, Windows 10, Network Connectivity, Active Directory, etc. Responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting Windows 10 environment
- Taking in and completing tickets surrounding permissions, access, password resets and other issues
- Learn and support users on COTS and company specific applications
- Assist in more complex tickets surrounding imaging, group policies, and SCCM related tasks
- Support Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 environment
Required Skills & Experience
Requirements:
* Ability to work on-site, Monday -- Wednesday
* Ability to work weekends. Saturday -- Sunday
* Comfortability with working a 10:00am -- 7:00pm schedule
* Associates Degree (or higher) in an IT related field or currently enrolled towards an Associate's or Bachelors Degree
* 1-3 years of professional experience in a helpdesk or service desk role
* Prior experience troubleshooting: MS Office Suite, Network Connectivity (DNS and DHCP), Active Directory, Windows 10, remote tools, smart phones, etc.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a similar field
