Insight Global is looking for a Data Strategy Manager to join one of our clients, on their Data Management Technology team. This position is based out of Richmond VA and Charlotte NC. Must be able to sit in one of those locations for hybrid in-office schedule.
The main objective of this role is to support various software deployment projects across the organization in conjunction with a large Resiliency Initiative across multiple data platforms. The ideal candidate will be able to understand and map out long-term data strategy for the organization and make sure it aligns with the current technology platforms and hiring initiatives.
1.) Experience designing data solutions for an organization
2.) Demonstrated ability to drive strategy for an organization
3.) Familiarity with big data tools and frameworks (Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Pig, Sqoop, Kafka, Spark)
4.) Ability to use Tableau for report creation
