Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an IT NOC Technician to support a security solutions company based out of Richmond, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations of the service NOC, including taking calls, managing tickets, and basic troubleshooting and support of software, desktops, servers, network devices, and security & CCTV camera systems.
Required Skills & Experience
* 2+ years of experience in an IT support role
* Support end users and troubleshoot issues over the phone and with remote diagnostic tools
* Create, update, and close tickets in a ticketing system
* Hardware and Software knowledge and troubleshooting experience
* Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to fully resolve issues
* Basic network knowledge including configuration and troubleshooting of routers/switches/wireless/firewalls/LAN/WAN
* Helpdesk experience supporting customers or employees in an IT role
* Experience working with vendors and help lines resolving issues
* One or more industry recognized certifications or equivalent formal training/education
* Remote troubleshooting, monitoring, and diagnostic tools
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Hands on Experience with physical security systems, PACS, VMS, Access Control, Cameras, and Security software
* CCNA Certified
* Experience configuring and maintaining Servers
* Have used a major ticketing system to manage support incidents
* Virtualization and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/VMWARE)
* Basic programming or script experience (SQL, HTML, Python, Java)
