One of our federal clients is looking for a Linux System Administrator to join their team fully on-site in Reston VA. This person is going to be joining a 65 person team that is working on developing systems and tools that are used by airmen for flight planning activities. This person is going to be responsible for the installation, configuration, and management of the systems, and help with the deployment of any applications. They will need to be knowledgeable in Linux (RedHat/CentOS), WebSphere, and Solaris 10/11.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, or Science related fields
- 8+ years of experience in system administration
- Hands on experience with WebSphere 8.5.5 or later
- Experience with Linux OS (RedHat Linux, CentOS)
- Solaris 10/11 physical machines
- Working in virtual environments and servers on both AWS and VMWare
- Deployment and management of Java based web applications
- US Citizen or GC Holder able to obtain a Public Trust
