Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an IT Project Manager (on site in Norfolk, VA 3x a week). The ideal candidate will be acting as a liaison between stakeholders, you will work with talented and motivated individuals to expand your knowledge and skills, while ensuring the successful delivery of your projects. * Concurrently manage several medium and large projects or workstreams, delivering them on time, under budget, and within scope
* Remove impediments and facilitate work to achieve successful results
* Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement, knowledge sharing, and teamwork
* Interface with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Software Engineers, Developers, Solutions and Enterprise Architects, and others to drive technical solutions and communicate them in business terms to other stakeholders
* Maintain positive, productive working relationships across departments and help promote a healthy PMO relationship with our constituents
* Participate in PMO process improvement efforts with the VP PMO, supporting our efforts to standardize processes and streamline practices
Required Skills & Experience
* 3-7 years of experience managing technical projects end-to-end from planning through closing
* 3 years of experience in a technical discipline with knowledge of Application Development, IT Infrastructure, Solution Architecture and/or IT Security
* Experience interacting with key departments and stakeholders including IT, Finance, Procurement, Compliance and Legal
* Knowledge of project management software and tools such as Smartsheet, Jira or MS Project
* Experience working with Agile, Waterfall and Lean methodologies
