Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Network Arcitect to join one of our larger federal clients. The candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and technical readiness of program, network and facility equipment. Provides technical expertise in support of 24/7/365 watch-standing duties; manages all program systems, equipment, and components. Troubleshoot system outages; coordinate with various agencies to maximize circuit readiness and minimize downtime; notify senior program personnel when anomalies or outages occur; qualify on all applicable equipment; maintain habitability of program spaces; conduct preventive maintenance as required; review and update Standard Operating Procedures as required; provides Critical Information Requirements (CIR) to the chain of command. The candidate will provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. They will also provide specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. The candidate will conduct testing of network systems and maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switchers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.

Required Skills & Experience

TS/SCI Clearance

5+ years of Network Engineer experience with Bach. Or 9 years of Network Engineering

Sec+ or any ITILL level 2 certification

Experience with Designing a network from scratch

Experience with meeting all the DOD requirements and policies

Experience designing and implementing Segment Routing Multiprotocal Label Switching

Experience maintaining LAN and Wan infrastructure.
