Job Description

* Insight Global is looking for a Senior Project Manager for one of our largest healthcare clients in Richmond, Virginia. This PM is Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects, generally managing multiple technically complex projects at one time from original concept to implementation.

* Given the scope of highly complex projects or simultaneous multiple medium to large sized projects; directs the completion of the required activities for:

o Scope management

o Schedule management

o Cost management

o Quality management

o Human resources management

o Communication & stakeholder management

o Risk management

o Change management

* Defines project scope and objectives.

* Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimate, resource plans, and status reports for the most complex enterprise technology projects. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.

* Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation to senior leadership.

* Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.

* Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solution of problems.

* Applies expert knowledge in managing complex multi-phased projects in academic hospital environment.

* May act as PMO lead / supervisor as directed by IT Leadership.

* Develop the Total Cost of Ownership to forecast capital and/or operational expenses

Required Skills & Experience

* Senior level PM - minimum of 4-6 years of experience

* Experience with large scale technology deployments

* PMP Certification

* Strong Experience with Microsoft Project

* Experience with healthcare provider environments

* Experience being in front of leadership (presenting, articulating, etc)
