Job Description

A customer is looking for a tenured AWS Architect to join their team remotely, and ultimately support their government customer. This is a heavy customer-facing role. Candidate must have great communication skills, be comfortable running point in meetings, and be able to articulate the possesses and progression of the development and architecture of the new environment. Must have experience in the federal space, specifically working within GovCloud. The team size is between 10-15 engineers and architects, and the entire team operates remotely. HIGHLY PREFERRED if you have a Government Clearance, Secret level clearance or above.

Minimum Requirements

- 9-10+ years as an AWS Architect

o Specifically from an infrastructure perspective

o Extensive experience with Cloud Migrations - replatforming and refactoring

- Extensive hands-on experience using AWS CodeCommit and AWS Cloud Formation (Terraform can be used instead of AWS CloudFormation)

o Will be working with government customer and their architects directly, as well as your internal team of architects and engineers

- At least 3 years of experience supporting the Federal Government and GovCloud

- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools

- Highly preferred: Government Clearance (Secret level clearance or above)
