Job Description
As a software and web developer, you will:
Work on software and web architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, and integration of new and existing systems
Communicate with customers and developers to understand and define their needs
Research and evaluate the best software and web technologies to meet customer requirements
Build, test, and maintain software and web applications and content solutions that meet customer expectations
Follow a formal design process with clear specifications, data flow diagrams, and other best practices, as well as comply with legal, standard, and ethical guidelines for software and web development
Collect and combine the necessary technology components to create a consistent and functional site design
Create attractive, informative, and easy-to-use interfaces with smooth navigation
Document and update the software and web development process and products to facilitate maintenance and improvement
Manage and control the software process and configuration throughout the software / web development lifecycle
Apply your knowledge of web software development principles, methods, and techniques
Demonstrate your proficiency in using one or more web technologies
Required Skills & Experience
High School Diploma + 8 years of related experience, or Associate's Degree + 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree + 4 years of experience
- Strong understanding of the web software development and design principles, methods, and techniques
- Proficient in one or more web technologies, such as ASP.net, C#, VB.net, JavaScript, C++, Shell, HTML, PHP etc.
