Job Description
A client of Insight Global in the Northwest Vermont area is seeking a QC Lab Manager to join their team! This individual will oversee all laboratory operations and lead the Quality Control team to ensure timely testing of finished products, raw materials, and packaging materials in alignment with production and logistics schedules. This role is responsible for coordinating testing activities, ensuring all methods, procedures, and documentation remain current and compliant with GMP and regulatory standards. The manager maintains and continuously improves laboratory systems to support safe, efficient, and compliant operations. Additionally, this individual ensures adherence to quality management requirements and reviews and approves controlled documents to support regulatory and internal compliance.
Compensation:
$80/hr to $100/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in a microbiology and/or chemistry lab for a manufacturing company
- Pharmaceutical or supplement industry experience
- 2+ years of experience in a manger or supervisor role
- Bachelor's degree in microbiology or chemistry
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Related master's degree or PhD
- Infant formula experience
