Job Description
Overview: One of Insight Global’s higher education clients is seeking an organized, people‑oriented Lifecycle Engagement Coordinator to support the growing volume of branded merchandise requests across the university. This entry‑level role focuses on managing incoming custom merchandise tickets, coordinating with internal requestors and external vendors, and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate is detail‑driven, comfortable juggling multiple tasks, and confident communicating boundaries and process expectations in a positive, service‑minded way.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Manage merchandise‑related tickets, including custom orders and routine branded item requests
Serve as the first point of contact for custom merchandise inquiries, gathering requirements and clarifying order details
Coordinate with vendors to confirm pricing, timelines, product options, and invoicing
Communicate updates to internal requestors and ensure all order details are accurately captured in the ticketing system
Assist with inventory‑related tasks, product uploads, and basic reporting as needed
Participate in recurring meetings with the merchandise vendor and internal teams
Uphold established processes, reinforce guidelines with requestors, and escalate issues when appropriate
Contribute ideas for improving workflows, consolidating orders, and enhancing store operations

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
0–1 year of professional experience in marketing, coordination, events, or similar roles
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously
Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to set expectations and maintain positive relationships
Comfort working in ticketing or task‑management systems (Workfront experience is a plus)
Ability to stay calm under pressure and navigate fast‑changing priorities
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Shopify or other e‑commerce platforms
Background supporting events, merchandise programs, or vendor coordination
Creative problem‑solving skills, especially around inventory, product ideas, or process improvements
