Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Business Continuity Planning Specialist to join one of our largest financial service clients sitting onsite five days a week in Draper, UT or Richardson, TX. This person will be joining the Enterprise Technology Operations group on the Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Engineering Team. This team is essential to maintain critical business functions and continuity when emergencies across the firm happen. The main objective of this role is to create solutions to minimize disruptions that could impact the firm when disaster happens. This person will be collaborating with various teams including engineering, technology infrastructure, corporate services, application development teams and risk management. It is imperative that this person understands all requirements of the BCP program, can articulate the program to upper management and ensure milestones are being met throughout the program. On a day to day, they will help create awareness and adoption of the BCP program, oversee the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans, report on the progress of BCP programs, perform annual BCP tests, develop and maintain documented recovery plans for all deployments, and provide training and guidance across the firm.

Required Skills & Experience

-2+ years of experience working within business continuity planning realm
-Understanding of technology risk domains like cyber security, business continuity, technology resilience, controls monitoring, risk assurance, risk governance, etc.
-Knowledge of Jira, Tableau or Excel

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Experience working at a financial institution
-Certifications in CBCP, CBCI, PMP
