Vice President, Outsourced Operations

A client of Insight Global is looking to hire a Vice President of Outsourced Operations in Draper, UT. This person will oversee the performance of outsourced collection operations, with a primary focus on managing relationships with approximately 25 law firms that handle legal collections, judgments, garnishments, and related recovery efforts. They will lead a team of managers and legal operations personnel, drive collection revenue and portfolio performance, establish vendor expectations, monitor legal and agency KPIs, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. This individual will be responsible for improving law firm performance, reducing costs, driving operational efficiencies, managing external vendors and collection agencies, and supporting business growth targets. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who can hold vendors accountable, improve results, and partner with executive leadership to maximize portfolio returns. Must Haves
5+ years of collections experience within debt buying, debt recovery, or consumer collections environments
3+ years of experience managing law firm networks, legal collections, or outsourced legal operations
5+ years of vendor management experience overseeing external partners, agencies, or service providers
Experience leading managers and large teams with responsibility for revenue, performance, and operational KPIs
Experience managing collection performance, legal workflows, budgets, and vendor accountability

Plusses

Experience in debt purchasing organizations
Experience overseeing collection agencies and specialty servicing vendors (bankruptcy, estates, etc.)
Background managing multi-state legal collections portfolios
Experience with legal performance analytics and forecasting
Previous leadership experience at the Director or VP level
