.Outwards (Outbound) Manager – Succession Track
Company: Supply Chain Fusion (SCF)
Location: American Fork, Utah
Compensation: $70,000 – $85,000 + 90-day guarantee (via agency)
Overview
Supply Chain Fusion is seeking a hands-on Outbound Manager to lead high-volume warehouse operations within a structured 3PL environment. This role is part of a succession plan for the Operations Manager, offering exposure to broader operational leadership responsibilities over time.
This is a critical hire due to upcoming leadership gaps, requiring someone who can ensure continuity, drive performance, and develop into a senior operations leader.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all outbound warehouse operations in a high-volume, multi-client 3PL environment (45+ clients, 1M+ SKUs)
Manage 4 Dispatch Supervisors and warehouse teams
Oversee peak volumes of up to 150,000 orders/month (single client)
Drive performance across key metrics:
Order turnaround times
Pick & inventory accuracy
Productivity & labor efficiency
Aged orders & SLA adherence
Team training and morale
Execute labor planning and resource allocation
Analyze operational data and reports to drive continuous improvement
Ensure adherence to structured systems, processes, and WMS tools

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications
3–5+ years experience in 3PL, logistics, distribution, or eCommerce fulfillment
Proven leadership experience in outbound warehouse operations
Strong experience managing KPIs, reporting, and performance metrics
Demonstrated ability in:
Labor planning & workforce optimization
Coaching supervisors and building teams
Driving process improvements through data
Experience with WMS and operational systems
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Hands-on leader who leads from the floor
Process-driven, structured, and highly organized
Calm under pressure; proactive and decisive
Strong analytical and planning skills
Passionate about team development and continuous improvement
