What you’ll be doing
Build and maintain data models using dbt on top of PostgreSQL and AWS
Develop and orchestrate pipelines using Python and Dagster
Work within the data warehouse repo to add metadata, define models, and implement data validation checks
Follow medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold) and help structure data for analytics consumption
Write and review SQL and Python code (peer reviews, best practices, performance tuning)
Ensure data quality through validations and testing within dbt
Collaborate with the architect and broader data team on platform design and improvements
Connect curated data models to BI tools (ThoughtSpot or similar)

Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves:
5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience
Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
Solid Python experience for data pipelines
Experience with dbt (core requirement) and working with YAML configs
Exposure to Dagster or similar orchestration tools (Airflow acceptable if transferable)
Experience working with PostgreSQL and AWS-based data stacks
Understanding of medallion/layered data architecture
Experience with code reviews and working in a collaborative repo environment
Nice to have: background as a software engineer
