Overview:
WGU is looking for a talented Web Designer with a strong UX focus to support its digital presence. This role primarily involves managing website visuals, resizing images, and refining headers for improved user experience. While not a complete redesign, the designer will help ensure the universitys web content is visually appealing and intuitive for users. The ideal candidate is proficient in Figma for light design work and has experience collaborating with content teams. If converted to full-time, this position will require four days of in-office work per week.
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
Resize and optimize images for web publishing
Adjust and refine headers and layout elements to enhance UX
Collaborate with content specialists to ensure visual alignment
Support personalization efforts by designing content snippets
Maintain consistency in design across newly published web pages
Assist with additional design projects as workload allows
