LLM Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Create and optimize generative AI models that can produce original content such as text, images, and code
• Design and implement RAG systems that enhance language models by retrieving relevant information from external
• Adjust pre-trained large language models to improve their performance on specific tasks or domains
• Develop AI agents that can autonomously perform tasks, make decisions, and interact with users or other systems
• Integrating LLMs into existing systems and applications, ensuring seamless functionality and performance
• Continuously monitoring model performance and making necessary adjustments to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Handling and maintaining large datasets
Day to Day:

One of insight Global s clients is looking for an LLM Engineer to come join their team. This individual will be responsible for building and fine tuning LLM based systems. They will primarily focus on prompt engineering to optimize the performance of generative AI models. Additionally, they will develop and implement robust evaluation frameworks to assess the performance of AI models. They will also develop and optimize workflows for AI agents, ensuring they can autonomously perform tasks, make decisions, and interact effectively with users or other systems. This individual will work closely with team members to develop and implement cutting-edge technologies for a security company.

Must Have:
• 5-8 years of experience
• Deep understanding of LLMs (Gemini, OpenAI, Llama, etc.)
• Experience with prompt engineering and fine-tuning
• Familiarity with eval frameworks for LLM quality and safety
• Experience building agentic or tool-using applications
• Strong Python skills and experience with LangChain or similar frameworks

Pluses:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
